About the event

Artists often struggle to sustain a livelihood with their artwork. At Next Level Society, our goal is to change that by turning passions into sustainable businesses. We are a local nonprofit organization that centralizes the importance of bridging the gap between art and business for youth in economically distressed communities. We offer a series of innovative programs, workshops, and field experiences throughout the year for teens and young adults to build portfolio pieces and gain marketable skills. This work is extremely important to our community and depends heavily on the kindness of individuals and corporations like yourself.

On Saturday, August 17, 2024 we are hosting an event for young creatives to gain real-world experience showcasing their art on the West Side of Chicago. Additionally, the event is intended to garner interest in the year round programs and services we offer. During the event, teen artists’ work will be showcased, mediums including but not limited to professional photography and videography, artwork, dance, music, clothing vending, and live podcasting. Our efforts within the community will advance even further with your company as one of our official corporate sponsors.

Why should you sponsor?

Chicago is a city of unique neighborhoods and, historically, there has been little equity in the resources allocated to certain communities for survival. As an organization, we provide programming for BIPOC teens and young adults between the ages of 12-24 in communities that benefit from programming to keep teens safe and increase economic growth. Studies have proven that after-school programming keeps youth from participating in violent activities and feeling the impact of violence. Our after-school programs and events serve about 100 young people annually and are run by a small group of other young creatives. The young adults who participate receive a stipend in and get the chance to gain work experience and build their portfolios, improving their chances of getting hired for long-term positions.

This partnership will also allow your company to network with this generations artistic influencers. But most importantly, you will greatly help the young artist community with your generous donation. Your financial contribution of $1,000 will help us cover the cost of print materials, supplies and provide stipends for teens who help execute the event.
