About the event
"The Fox Valley Music Consortium is a not-for-profit cultural organization whose purpose is to provide fine musical performances for people of all ages and educational opportunities for youth." We work to provide access to music education for underserved youth in our neighboring communities. In addition to our educational music program, El Sistema, which works with local schools, we also offer wonderful performance opportunities through our youth and adult ensembles throughout our community. This is our largest fundraiser of the year. We host performances by our adult ensembles, present our annual Champion of the Arts award and the evening includes dinner, and both silent and live auctions to raise money in support of our ensembles and educational programming.
Why should you sponsor?
Our organization brings people together from all over the Fox Valley area and neighboring cities. By supporting the Fox Valley Music Consortium you would be helping to support the operating costs for all our adult and youth ensembles, as well as our El Sistema program, which provides music education in our underserved schools. In addition to receiving complimentary tickets to our event, tickets for an ensemble of your choosing, as well as recognition in all publicity and promotions surrounding the event, sponsoring our event is about making connections and building relationships within our local community. It’s a wonderful opportunity to utilize our platform to reach a diverse demographic.
Lindsay MosshammerMy name is Lindsay Mosshammer, and I proudly serve as the Fundraising Event Coordinator for the Fox Valley Music Consortium, based in Aurora, IL. I have been involved with this incredible organization for over eight years—beginning as a volunteer helping backstage and supporting fundraising events, and eventually stepping into my current leadership role.
Throughout my time with the FVMC, I’ve been continually inspired by the dedication and passion of our musicians and educators. Their commitment to sharing the joy of music—whether through dynamic performances or accessible music education programs—has made a lasting impact on our community.
