The largest off season fan powered gathering of NY Mets fans in the tri-state area. The QBC was founded in 2013 with the motto, “By fans, For Fans”. From the start the QBC has been a combination of a baseball fan fest meets a comic con. This includes panels, former and current player signings, Q and A panels, panels on Mets history, uniforms, players, etc., vendors and games. Players that have attended the QBC in the past have been, Darryl Strawberry, Chris Flexen, Todd Hundley, Edgardo Alfonzo, Tim Teufel, Mookie Wilson, Wally Backman, Ed Kranepool, Bobby Valentine, Ron Darling, Keith Hernandez, Broadcaster Gary Cohen, and Todd Frazier.
Our Mission: To offer our fellow Mets Fans the best off season experience they could have. We give them access to players that they wouldn’t get at a baseball card show. We want our fellow fans to be able to celebrate their fandom all year long. This is the exact type of fan fest that we would go to if we didn’t organize it.
We have a loyal fanbase that tends to be brand loyal and having a sponsors name out in front of them is a huge deal.

Media Coverage
Since its inception, the QBC has received positive media coverage from both local and national channels, including:
SNY (live reporting, taped interviews, multiple in show mentions, and on their social media platforms)
NY1, WCBS-AM ESPN.com, WFAN and NY Post and NY Post Sports plus app SI.com (interviews and video coverage)
Various Mets related podcasts including The 7Line’s Orange and Blue thing, The Mets Pod, Til Mets do us part, and Catching Feelings plus many more.
The Queens Baseball Convention filled a void of a fan fest where the NY mets would not do one for their fans. We do this as a passion project for our fellow fans. These events we do are the same ones we would want to go to as fans ourselves. This is going to be our 10th year that the QBC has been around and we get better and bigger every year.
