How do you make a robot follow a line? Now what if the robot has only two wheels. How will it balance and follow the line? This is exactly what is taught in the Wall-E workshop. The Wall-E workshop focuses on the concepts of line-following and self-balancing, using ESP32, a powerful micro-controller with features like inbuilt Wi-Fi support and BLE, with extensive application in several domains like IoT, RF, etc. The workshop entails various essential concepts such as PID Control, Embedded Communication Protocols, PWM, Filters, RTOS, etc. and gives its attendees (first-year students) a general idea about the world of robotics and embedded hardware. Following are some of the highlights:
The workshop is the starting point for budding engineers to begin their journey into Coding, Robotics, Embedded Systems, Electronics and Automation. As such, sponsoring our event will build a favourable image of your company and start associating your brand with upcoming engineers from a very young age.
Besides the exposure you get to engineers, our club has alumni working in reputed companies worldwide such as Microsoft, Espressif, Texas Instruments, Wells Fargo, Qualcomm and Apple. We will promote your brand among our alumni, increasing your chances of approaching these companies as customers.
You will also help a passionate group of students get the support they need to work on more ambitious projects.
Started in September 2008, the Society of Robotics And Automation, (better known as the SRA) is a student's society which deals with Robotics, Machine vision, Automation and the allied fields. SRA aims to create awareness and promotes robotics among students at VJTI and other leading colleges in Mumbai.
We are a very active club with a large number of achievements in national and international competitions, some of them at a glance are:
20 Selections in Google Summer of Code 2022
2 Finalist Teams in the eYantra International Robotics Competition(eYRC) organised by IIT-Bombay (2022)
Selections for Research Internships in Canada (MiTACs), Switzerland (EPFL), Singapore(NTU) and many more.
The 7th Delta International Automation Contest - 2nd Prize (2021)
