About the event

I hope all is well. My name is Reed Hunnicutt and I run an Illinois-based basketball platform called Illinois Hoop Prospects. We are holding a private run event on August 4th at 167 N Green Street in Chicago, a rooftop gym in the heart of downtown, with about 40 college players.

We are looking for some sponsors for the event. Our main demographic of active, on-the-go 16-22 year old males with 35-50 year old on-the-go parents making up the second largest group.

We held an identical event in May that generated over 80,000 impressions on Instagram (@il_hoopprospects - 6.3K followers) and also have related content shared on Twitter (@ILHoopProspects - 11.8K followers) and our newsletter 1.23K subs)

We have sponsorship packages of $100, $500, and $1,000 that range from your logo being included on event-related posts to being the title sponsor of the event. We would also allow you to come in and take pictures up on the court for your brand pages.

Why should you sponsor?

We are a large basketball platform that will provide both visibility and a reputation boost from being associated with a positive community event. We have events for mainly high school and college basketball players in Illinois, providing educational resources to players and parents in addition to on-court activities.

Reed Hunnicutt

My name is Reed Hunnicutt and I graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a finance degree in 2018. While at Notre Dame, I helped organize the first formal club basketball team and was captain of the women's practice team in 2018 when the team won the national championship. I work in wealth management operations in Chicago and just completed my MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in December. I started this platform during lockdown to provide resources and coverage for high school players in Illinois who were being overlooked or didn't have outlets to attract college attention. In the process, I have been able to meet some wonderful players and families while having over 350 college coaches follow the platform on social media.
