Why should you sponsor?
Dear potential sponsor,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to you today to seek your support and partnership for an upcoming event aimed at raising funds and awareness for Rett Syndrome. As a socially responsible organization committed to making a positive impact, your esteemed company's participation and sponsorship would play a vital role in making this event a resounding success.
Rett Syndrome is a rare genetic disorder that predominantly affects young girls. It is a neurological condition characterized by severe physical and cognitive impairments. Individuals with Rett Syndrome often lose their ability to walk, speak, and use their hands effectively. Sadly, there is no known cure for this debilitating condition, making it essential to continue raising awareness and funds to support scientific research and provide assistance to affected families.
The Second Annual "Maryland Strollathon for Rett Syndrome," is scheduled to take place on October 7, 2023 at Matthew Henson Park, Maryland. Its primary objective is to bring together individuals, families, and organizations that share a common goal of improving the lives of those affected by Rett Syndrome. By organizing this event, we aim to achieve the following:
1. Raise Funds: The funds raised during the event will be directed towards supporting research initiatives focused on finding a cure for Rett Syndrome. Your sponsorship would greatly contribute to the financial success of this event and enable us to make a significant impact in advancing medical research.
2. Raise Awareness: By creating a platform for open dialogue and sharing personal stories, the event will help increase public awareness about Rett Syndrome. We believe that your company's involvement in this event would amplify its reach and effectiveness, leading to a greater understanding of the challenges faced by those affected and fostering empathy within the community.
3. Foster Collaboration: "The Maryland Stollathon" will serve as a hub for collaboration between researchers, healthcare professionals, and affected families. By sponsoring this event, your company will demonstrate its commitment to corporate social responsibility and strengthen its ties with the community. It presents an opportunity to showcase your brand's values and dedication to making a difference.
As an event sponsor, your company would receive prominent recognition and exposure before, during, and after the event. We offer various sponsorship packages tailored to meet your specific needs and budget, providing an excellent opportunity for brand visibility, positive public relations, and engagement with a passionate and diverse audience.
We kindly request a meeting to discuss the possibility of your company's sponsorship for the "Maryland Strollathon" event and explore how we can collaborate to maximize the impact of this initiative. Your support, be it financial or in-kind contributions, will go a long way in making a difference in the lives of those affected by Rett Syndrome.
I would be grateful if you could take a few moments to review the attached event proposal, which provides detailed information about the event, sponsorship benefits, and different ways in which your company can contribute.
Thank you for considering this request, and I look forward to the opportunity to discuss this partnership further. Together, we can make a significant impact and bring hope to those affected by Rett Syndrome. Dear [Potential Sponsor],
Allow me to introduce myself—my name is Toni Moore, and I am writing to you as the organizer of an upcoming event aimed at raising funds and awareness for Rett Syndrome. I personally understand the impact of this rare neurological disorder as my sister Teresa has been affected by it. She has outlived her life expantancy by 40 years to have reached the age of 53. This cause is close to my heart, and I am driven by a deep desire to make a difference in the lives of those affected by Rett Syndrome.
This will be my second event dedicated to raising funds for Rett Syndrome, building upon the success of the first event. Through our initial efforts, we were able to raise over $6,000, and I am confident that with the continued support of sponsors like yourself, we can achieve even greater results this time. The success of our previous event is a testament to our dedication, organization, and ability to mobilize resources effectively.
To further enhance the impact of this event, I am proud to partner with the International Rett Syndrome Foundation. This collaboration ensures that funds raised will be directed toward the most promising research initiatives and support services for individuals and families affected by Rett Syndrome. By aligning with such a reputable organization, we ensure transparency, accountability, and maximum impact for the funds raised.
I understand that trust is crucial when considering sponsorship opportunities, and I want to assure you that I am committed to conducting this event with the utmost professionalism and integrity. I am fully accountable for the funds raised and will ensure that they are utilized in the most efficient and impactful manner.
I sincerely hope that you will trust me and my event to make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by Rett Syndrome.
