Shakeara, the owner of BOBBIE ZULO (a boutique accounting firm) has worked in accounting for over ten years. Her accounting experience spans all levels of government (local, state, and federal), with some corporate exposure and multiple non-profit organizations. Shakeara’s expertise ranges from reporting government payroll that grosses nearly $2 million weekly to managing a state agency budget of $3 million monthly and overseeing the financial health of a non-profit organization grossing over $10 million annually.
As part of the accounting profession, Shakeara enhanced her knowledge by working diligently to obtain an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Maryland Global Campus. In 2021, she completed her graduate studies with UMGC’s Accounting Information Systems graduate program and is currently a Doctorate of Business Administration student with the same institution.
As a Baltimore native, Shakeara enjoys Baltimore eateries and local attractions. Recently, she took on more responsibility—her puppy Zeus. Equally important, she loves assisting small business owners with their accounting, finance, and business needs.
