Hula Bowl 2023,

Orlando, Florida, United States Orlando, Florida, United States

  • About the event

The Hula Bowl was established in 1946 as the Hula Bowl All-Star Football Classic game. In 1960, the Hula Bowl game was established as an All-Star game that would only invite NCAA college players from schools across the US. The teams were divided into two teams, one team from those colleges located in the Eastern and Western United States. The teams were then split into “Aina and Kai " teams, the Hawaiian words for Land and Water.

Throughout its tenure, the game was historically played at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii. In 1998, the mayor of Maui County requested that the Organizers of the Hula have the game moved to the Island of Maui. Beginning that year, the game was held at the War Memorial Stadium in the town of Kahului on the island of Maui.

In 2006, the Hula Bowl returned back to its historic home on the beautiful island of Oahu. The game remained on Oahu until the 2008 game.

In recent years there has been overwhelming support to bring the game to Orlando, Florida. On January 15, 2022 the University of Central Florida’s Bounce House stadium played host to the first Hula Bowl held outside of Hawaii. Following a successful Florida debut and overwhelming community support, Hula Bowl game organizers plan to feature the game in January each year in Florida. Next year the Hula Bowl again is planning to include NCAA college football players from all divisions, along with international players from Japan.

Hula Bowl Week is an exciting and immersive foray into the world of professional football. Over an action-packed five days, the players meet the very best coaches, scouts, team execs, agents and sponsors. The week provides a unique opportunity to grow, network, and showcase special talents before premier talent scouts from the NFL, CFL, USFL, ELF, and other professional leagues.

    Why should you sponsor?

Hula Bowl Japan is at the forefront of American football's global expansion in Asia. The game has been popular for decades, but many of the best athletes from the region have not had the necessary exposure that would enable them to pursue a professional career in the US. We are creating opportunities for young Japanese football players to showcase what they can do amongst the best players in the US, in front of representatives from the world's top professional clubs. Your help would allow us to continue to expand our program to incorporate more students, find the best prospects, and create multiple platforms for these exceptional athletes to compete on the global stage.

We are creating opportunities for our youth. We are also making the world a smaller place by breaking down cultural barriers and introcucing new worlds society's future leaders.

Your support also gets you a front row seat to one of college football most storied games. The entire country tunes in to see their favorite college athletes compete for a spot in the NFL.
