About the event
The Creatress Summit is a 5-Day Virtual Conference designed to support and uplift Womxn of Color who work and thrive in the Media Industry. During the 5-day conference, attendees will participate in sessions and workshops that will help level up their skills in the areas of marketing/branding, podcasting, self-development, community building, filmmaking, digital content creation, and more! In addition to sessions and workshops, there will be networking events to attend, and a virtual expo hall to explore. This will be a week of building relationships, expanding knowledge, and making memories.
Why should you sponsor?
The mission of The Creatress Summit is to give Womxn of Color a space to be highlighted and celebrated in a place others have told them they don’t belong.
“I would go to conferences and only see white male speakers, and maybe 2 or 3 men of color and/or white women. I rarely saw myself represented at these events, and I knew that we were out there making moves in the industry,” founder Saidah Murphy says.
“I’ve been told, multiple times, that there aren’t enough Womxn, especially Womxn of Color, who are experts in areas like marketing or podcasting or filmmaking to fill speaking slots at conferences, and that’s why I didn’t see them there. I knew that was the furthest thing from the truth and I wanted to prove those people wrong- which is why I created this summit” Saidah said.
Supporting this event supports Womxn of Color from all over the world, and gives them a platform to share their expertise and stand out as experts in their industry.
