About the event
The Blue Crab 5k Family Run is an annual event held on June 25th in Arnold, MD.
This year's race will be extra special because it falls on a Sunday, which means even more family and friends can come out to support the runners! The race is open to all ages and abilities, so come out and join in the fun! The course start and finish line will be at the Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, making it a beautiful and unique setting for a 5k. Time is on your side with this event since it will not be officially timed but we will have a volunteer available at the finish line if you would like to check to see how you did.
The race warm up will take place at 7:50 am and the race will begin at 8:30 am sharp. Runners can expect a challenging but fun course that takes them through some of the best scenery that Anne Arundel County has to offer. Registration includes a t-shirt, goodie bag, and post-race refreshments and a portion of the proceeds from the event will go towards sponsoring area youth sports clubs.
