About the event
Year after year, the Saint Rafka Church Annual Festival provides an opportunity for families to come together and celebrate the beautiful aspects of Middle-Eastern and American culture together in one place. This much loved, two-day event draws nearly 2,500 people of all ages from Michigan and Ohio to enjoy the best of our music, cuisine, and culture.
Nationally acclaimed musicians perform alongside our teen folk dance groups for a unique event that showcases a wide range of talents and entertainment styles. Traditional Middle-Eastern family recipes are prepared by our own parishioners and served with the hospitality that is a trademark of our community. Throughout the festival, children’s activities make our event one the whole family can enjoy.
With growing attendance and popularity of our Saint Rafka Annual Festival, we believe there are fantastic opportunities for businesses to partner with this wonderful community event.
Why should you sponsor?
Our festival is an event that showcases our culture, heritage, and food for people from all walks of life in our surrounding community. It has continued to grow over the past several years and each year our audience reach has grown. This year will be the same as we are increasing the channels in which we advertise and connect with people not only in our community but also into the surrounding cities and counties.
What that means for you as a sponsor is that we are able to offer different opportunities for your brand and company to visible and recognized. We have packages that range from having your company/brand be recognized through Detroit radio advertising on one of the most popular radio stations in the area, direct mailing to 5,000 homes in the city of Livonia, your brand/logo printed on 10,000 raffle tickets that are distributed, impressions on the posters that will be distributed to numerous businesses throughout Wayne County, impressions at the festival itself with your logo displayed in the 2,000 festival flyers and tray liners, on our volutneer t-shirts, on our 3'x5' banners displayed at our festival showcasing to our patrons our generous sponsors, along with verbal recognition several times a day by our Master of Ceremony, and impressions through internet media (website, facebook, Google+, email distributions).
All of these opportunities can be taken advantage of depending on the sponsorship level. Also, depending on the sponsorship level, we are offering designated areas and individual tents and tables that would allow you to display your company's information, products that you may be selling or services you may offer. We also welcome, depending on your business, to sign-up prospective customers, members, clientele, etc., as this will be allowed depending on your sponsorship level.
In conclusion, our festival sponsorship opportunities not only help us, but has the potential to help you and your business through targeted marketing, on-site signage, broadcast recognition, physical/employee presence on-site, proprietary area, rights to use logo/marks, along with the numerous impressions in our media, both printed and mailed, printed and distributed by hand, and also through internet media.
My name is Tony Massad. I am the pastor of the parish community of St. Rafka Maronite Catholic Church. I have been working at the parish for four years and since my time here we have grown in our faith, in number, and in our charitable contributions and acts. All of this has been possible through the grace of God and through the dedicated men and women who have worked so hard to shape and form our community, always striving for better. I am lucky enough to work with them and their families, trying my best to enrich their lives so that we all can enrich the lives of others.
I would like to think that I am a humble person, remembering my role as pastor and priest is a call to service. I try my best to see the intrinsic value in each person I meet. I am happy and proud to be part of this great community and hope that you would like to align yourself with us and sponsor our event.
