About the event
Each year, the City Impact Foundation joins with community, business, educational and non-profit leaders to celebrate the accomplishments of our students, center, and community.
The event provides an opportunity to learn about City Impact Foundation, hear directly from staff, students, business leaders, and network with colleagues.
The Make An Impact Gala also honors community business leaders or companies who has worked diligently to help fulfill our mission.
The City Impact Foundation will celebrate our Annual "Make An Impact" Gala on February 20, 2017, at the City Impact Center located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Each year, this festive occasion promotes the mission of our foundation and raises significant funds in support of both current and future assistance provided to those when they need it most.
Guests will enjoy a wonderful evening, hearing inspirational words from leaders in the business industry, individuals who go above and beyond to make an impact in their respective communities, and a few words from those who have been helped by the funds your sponsorships have helped us raise. All of this while dining on amazing food and enjoying the company of so many great people from around the nation.

Derek BasistaMy name is Derek R. Basista and I am the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Charity Events Group, an event planning, design, and marketing firm that helps non-profits and other charities increase their income by planning, designing and marketing creative events based on each individual client needs and styles.
In April of 2016, I planned, designed and managed one of the state of New Jersey's largest dinners in honor of the first responders who assisted in the February 2016 Hillsborough, New Jersey military depot fire located on 206 in Hillsborough, New Jersey.
With the help of the community, local stores, The Manville VFW, Assemblymen, Senators, and Mayors, I announced that I would be holding a dinner for 600 first responders to thank them for the invaluable dedication and support for the massive fire that took so much property from the community.
It was from this vision and dedication to this event, that I was presented with a Joint State Resolution on behalf of the State of New Jersey by Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker & Jack Ciattarellie (16th District) on Saturday, April 2nd, 2016 in my hometown of Manville, New Jersey and was applauded by my community, my family, friends and Mayor Onderko of Manville, New Jersey and Mayor DelCore of Hillsborough, New Jersey.
It is out of my love to help others that I have agreed to become a large part of the City Impact Foundation, and the Make An Impact 2017 Gala.
I have agreed to donate my time and services to design them an amazing event that is sure to set the mood for an evening of giving, thanks and support.
I have created this Sponsor My event Campaign in order to help offset some of the cost to present an event on this scale. Your support will go such a long ways to help make this evening a success.
In return, we will make sure to give you and your company the recognition they deserve. Please join me in supporting this year's "Make An Impact 2017" Gala. Together we can bring hope to the City of Las Vegas.
