About the event

Crowns & Cultivations is a transformative healing and empowerment event designed to help individuals reconnect with themselves through creative expression, emotional release, and intentional growth. This experience brings together art, affirmation, wellness, and sacred community in one powerful space.

Attendees will engage in hands-on activities like painting symbolic planter heads (representing growth and identity), potting live plants (symbolizing healing and rooting), guided journaling, and wellness practices like yoga and sound therapy. We’re cultivating a safe and soulful environment for people of all backgrounds especially Black and Brown communities  to 
rest, reflect, reconnect, and rise.

This event is part of a larger mission through my nonprofit K.A.R.M.A. Inc., where we support mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness for underserved communities.

Valyrica lewis

My name is Valyrica Lewis, and I’m the founder of K.A.R.M.A. Inc. a nonprofit rooted in holistic healing, empowerment, and community care. I’m also a certified life coach, spiritual practitioner, author, and event creator dedicated to shifting collective energy and helping people reconnect to their true selves.

I created Crowns & Cultivations out of my own healing journey. After experiencing emotional hardship, spiritual awakenings, and the pressure of navigating life as a Black woman entrepreneur, I realized how vital it is to have safe spaces where people can be seen, heard, and poured into.

Through my nonprofit, I’ve supported single mothers, survivors of trauma, underserved youth, and those seeking emotional clarity. I believe healing should be accessible, creative, and community-centered not boxed in or gatekept.

This event is a reflection of my personal mission:
To clear karmic cycles, shift generational energy, and help people bloom mind, body, and spirit.

Every offering I create, from books to coaching to events, is rooted in that divine assignment. And Crowns & Cultivations is my heartwork in motion.
