PAN AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
From shores of Greenland to the southern most tip of Chile, the biennial Pan American Championships is the official competition to determine the Beach Handball champions of the Americas. This year’s competition will serve as a qualifier for the 2018 World Championships in Kazan, Russia where four teams from each division will represent Pan America and their country.
USA Men’s Team is the current Pan American Champion. Brazil’s Men and Women won the Silver Medal in the 2016 World Championship, and the Gold Medal in the 2017 World Games.
Hosted for the first time in the United States, this historic Pan American Beach Handball Championship (PABHC) will take place on March 8 - 11, in Oceanside, CA. USA Beach Handball along with partners Visit Oceanside and the San Diego Exploratory Foundation will welcome:
l 20 Men’s and Women’s Teams l 12 Nations l Over 300 Athletes and Staff l
l 4 courts with 70 games l 200 Organizers and Volunteers l
l Televised matches at Oceanside Amphitheater l Over 10,000 spectators l
USA Men’s National Team is the reigning Pan American Champion. This tournament will be the first time both USA National Teams compete officially on US soil.
