About the event
This event is in support of Fil-Can Nation Select (FCNS), a community sport organization which aims to provide a platform for opportunities, exposure, and education for Filipino-Canadian athletes. The purpose of this event is to raise the necessary funds needed to send FCNS to the Philippines in March 2025 to participate in the Manila Live tournament, a FIBA-sanctioned event that brings together the best Filipino High School Basketball talent globally. FCNS made history this year by winning the inaugural Manila Live tournament, and are on their way back to defend their title.

Jaymee AbedaniaZweetie Sports Plus (ZSP) is a BIPOC-owned organization whose mission is to empower individuals and communities through sports and beyond. We are excited to host our fundraising event, the Community Golf Tournament at Bushwood Golf Club in Markham. We are associating with RiseTribe, a not-for-profit organization aimed at powering the next generation of Filipinx-Canadian leaders, to deliver this event.
