About the event

Zest For Life is an exciting one day event of education and networking opportunities catered to Boomers, Zoomers, Seniors and the people that love them.  Unlike other senior trade shows, Zest For Life is different – we are an intimate gathering that will showcase a fashion show, entertainment, workshops and an inspirational keynote speaker.  The demonstrations will include cooking, fitness, technology and more!  Attendees can choose which workshop they would like to attend.  There will be a silent auction, prizes, and over 30 vendors that will offer services and products that cater to the boomer, zoomer and senior generations. The focus of the event is health and wellness for 45+.   Lunch will also be provided.  Learn how to live big with zest!

Event Overview:

• When:  Sunday, October 16^th, 2016, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.
• Where:  Hilton Meadowvale, 6750 Mississauga Road, Mississauga, ON.
• 350 attendees, mostly 45+.  Tickets available only in advance for $45.
• Book signing and photographs by former Mayor of Mississauga, Hazel McCallion.
• Fashion show will include the latest fashion trends for zoomers and seniors.
• Silent auction will be filled with restaurant gift certificates, household treasures, innovative technology, sports paraphenalia, baskets, gadgets and more!  Proceeds to benefit Seniors Care – Highest Priority Needs, Trillium Health Partners Foundation.
• Attendees will choose a workshop they would like to attend including fitness, cooking or technology.
• Exhibitors will provide services and products that cater to positive aging including Real Estate, Personal Organization, Home Care, Medical Equipment, Retirement Residency, Food Consultation, Financial Planning, Travel, Health & Wellness and so much more.
• Hot lunch provided.  Wine sampling available!

• Door prizes and swag bags will also be provided.

Zest For Life is in support of Trillium Health Partners Foundation, dedicated to raising the critical funds needed to address the highest priority needs of Trillium Health Partners: Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga Hospital and Queensway Health Centre.Trillium Health Partners has over 1.6 million patient visits per year—37 per cent of them seniors. The Emergency Department is the busiest in North America, treating over 50,000 seniors last year - many presenting with a combination of medical and psychiatric illnesses. 

The mission is to inspire and partner with our community to invest in how health care is delivered in this region. It is a mission deeply rooted in Trillium Health Partners’ strategic plan which is focused on creating a new kind of health care for a healthier community.

There will be a photo booth on site for those who wish to take pictures with Hazel McCallion and 100% of these proceeds will be donated to Seniors Care – Highest Priority Needs at Trillium Health Partners ensuring continuous growth and initiatives.
