About the event

According to Greek mythology, 'Xenia' is a Greek word that refers to the hospitality that hosts must provide to guests. This includes providing food, drink, gifts, a bath, and safe passage to their next destination. In the Odyssey, gift-giving can be seen as a sign of respect.

Xenia, an important aspect of Homeric society, can be described as the guest-host relationship. It was of importance in Homeric society because it was something that could make or break the relationship you have with someone.

In Ramaiah University, Faculty of Hospitality Management and Catering Technology (FHMCT), Xenia is an intercollegiate festival that features academic, and cultural events. 

We extend an heartfelt invitation to Universities and Colleges across India to promote cultural, artistic, and skill diversity.

Pratheek K currently serves as the President of the Hospitality Club at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences. A dynamic and dedicated leader, he has been at the forefront of organizing student-led initiatives that bring together creativity, collaboration, and a passion for hospitality. Under his leadership, the club continues to build platforms that showcase talent, encourage innovation, and strengthen industry–academia connections.

 

With Xenia 2025, Pratheek is driving efforts to create one of the most engaging and impactful hospitality fests of the year.
