Valhalla Gives Back,

About the event

Here at Valhalla High School, we feel giving back to our community is a top priority. We have designated a whole week, April 4th-April 8th as “Valhalla Gives Back Week” during which we will be giving back to the Rancho San Diego community and surrounding areas. Our goal is to help raise awareness for our local non-profit organizations and promote businesses at no cost to them. The week will include daily visits by non-profit organizations to promote their services to our student body and will culminate with our “Valhalla Gives Back Community Fair” on Saturday, April 9th 2016 from 9am- 1pm.  This community fair will be held in conjunction with our first annual 5K Run commemorating the unforgettable service and dedication of our past administrator Mrs. Toni Gutierrez.

Why should you sponsor?

The first annual Toni's Run 5K will begin at 9:00am on Saturday April 9th.  Each pre-registered runner will receive a commemorative T-shirt.  Please consider being one of the featured sponsors on the back of over 250 t-shirts.  A sponsorship spot is only $250.00 and we are limited to 10 sponsors, so get your application in early; these will go fast.

In addition to our week long event, on April 9th, in memory of our past administrative assistant, Mrs.Toni Gutierrez we would like to honor her with a run. Mrs. Gutierrez was a wonderful humanitarian and helped our school improve in ways we couldn't do without her. We are happy to keep her Valhalla legacy alive with a 5K run, named Toni’s Run. To raise awareness we are giving each runner a shirt with her name. Following the run is our festival, inviting different organizations out to our campus to help spread awareness.
