About the event

Ukwa Carnival is dedicated to creating positive change through youth empowerment (by gainfully and positively engaging them), enhancing education and strengthening families and communities where we live and work, promoting welfare and bringing happiness to the people. We accept this noble responsibility through our social commitment and contributions to sustainable development both locally and internationally. It is our ultimate goal to use Ukwa Carnival as a platform for inter-cultural exchange in view of promoting peace, love, unity and quality livelihood in our immediate and extended communities; a feat we have been achieving since the inception of the carnival. Ukwa Carnival brings people of all walks of life to celebrate culture and peaceful livelihood, showcasing wonderful and creative floats, costumes, beauty pageant, musicals and other interesting games.
