About the event
Dear Prospective Sponsor,
Allies for Autism, a Calgary based charity, is an organization that provides extra educational tools for children on the autism spectrum, assists people suffering from this disability with independent living and works to raise awareness for their cause. Recently Sir Winston Churchill High School students have taken the initiative to raise money for this charity through an after-school Movie Marathon for students on February 26, 2016. Much like a running marathon, pledges will be given to students from family and friends for the time that they spend watching the movies. The proceeds will go directly to Allies for Autism.
In order to make this event a success, we are in search of sponsors who would provide food, monetary support or gift cards as prizes. Your generous support would greatly enhance the experience for the students, not only making our movie marathon a success for this year, but also creating an annual event that students will want to attend year after year. This will also ensure that Allies for Autism continues to get support and make a difference for children on the autism spectrum. Your company logo will be prominently displayed during the event and we will acknowledge sponsors before screening each movie.
We greatly value your support, not only for the event but for the greater student community. As a part of our movie experience we are looking for sponsors to provide food for the event, whether it be popcorn, gelato, chips, fruits, desserts/treats. pizza etc. We will need enough for approximately 280 people. Sponsors will have a banner displayed and name mentioned during the event.
