    The Nanga Naach is a bold, one of a kind cancer awareness event in North Vancouver. It is not just an event, it is the beginning of a movement. Rooted in the untold story of cancer patients who experience fabric sensitivity during cancer treatment, this event embraces a clothing optional, beach inspired theme to spark empathy, solidarity, and awareness in a truly unforgettable way.

    • Partnering with three respected charities who will receive donations from the portion of porceeds: Save Your Skin Foundation, Wilms Cancer Foundation, and Vancouver Friends for Life Society

    My name is Mayank Maini. I currently work at a non-profit and 'The Nanga Naach' is a project I have chosen to pursue outside of my professional role. It is my personal dream to build a bold, one of a kind cancer awareness event that grows into a global cultural movement.

    The Nanga Naach is about solidarity with cancer patients and bringing attention to struggles that are often unseen, such as fabric sensitivity. This initiative is more than an event, it is the start of a movement that combines awareness, community, and culture in a powerful way.

    My vision is to create a legacy event that can stand alongside world renowned gatherings such as Dîner en Blanc, the Rose Ball, and the World Naked Bike Ride. Through this event, I hope to bring people together in a creative, unforgettable way while also opening opportunities for donations and meaningful support for cancer foundations.
