About the event
The Physical Education Department at the Heath School hosts an annual Sports Personality Awards Of The Year (SPOTY) event. The purpose of the evening is to celebrate the achievement of the students; providing an opportunity to encourage, enthuse and recognise our talented sports performers.
The 2018 SPOTY event, taking place in July, will be the sixth iteration and the previous years have been supported by former England Women’s Footballer and BBC Pundit Sue Smith as well as Rugby League Man of Steel Paul Sculthorpe MBE. Over 30 awards are presented on the night including; Outstanding Performer, Team of the Year, Leader of the Year and the Sports Personality of The Year.
Why should you sponsor?
We are currently seeking to develop partnerships with businesses who will help us to maintain and develop this successful event and we would be grateful if you would consider supporting the awards evening. We anticipate over 300 people attending the event and we will be promoting the evening via the school website and social media accounts as well as seeking the support of the local press.
All event partners will be included in all marketing activities recognising your organisations support of our event. We would also be keen to encourage involvement in the event, either as an invited guest or providing the presentation of a specific award. Currently, we need to raise funds for medals, guest speakers, lighting, printing and the services of videographer
