Ronak Punjab community have been hosting a SOLD OUT Teeyan Da Mela Birmingham for several years. It is an event that celebrates the Punjabi festival of Teej that is focuses on women. The event includes dancefloor, gidha performances, competitions, raffles, speeches, food and stalls. Women from Birmingham enjoy attending this event, held once year in July. Our organisation is aimed at empowering, uniting and celebrating women. One of our greatest successes was our Mela this year on the 16th July, in Samsons Banqueting Suite. Around 500 people attended, leaving us with a larger following. Tickets were priced at £20.00 for adults and 10 stalls were bought. Celebrity guest Jaswinder Jassi was booked for this year and the year before. Entertainment was also provided by solo artists and Ronak Punjab Gidha Team. Next year, we are proposing an even bigger and better mela with around 1000 people attending. We have recognised a huge potential for development with our growing following. We were wondering if you would be interested in sponsoring our Teeyan Da Mela in 2018. We will be offering advertisement * on Facebook (with over 1000 likes), *our website, * on posters * tickets * banners at the venue * likely newspaper coverage afterwards in Des Pardes ( in which we were in for 2 consecutive years) * verbal mentions on the day. * You may also leave your business cards at the venue, on the tables.
