TED is an annual event that brings together the world's leading thinkers and doers to share ideas that matter in any discipline — technology, entertainment, design, science, humanities, business, development. The talks at the conference, called TED Talks, are then made available to watch for free on TED.com.
In the spirit of "ideas worth spreading," TED has created TEDx, a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
Conceived inside the regal walls of the College of Engineering Pune, the team of TEDxCOEP organized its second edition on 3rd March 2019. Under the profound theme of "Full Circle", 8 speakers from antithetically different backgrounds and with different stories were featured in two sessions of the event. Exploring the theme, the speakers threw light upon various spheres of life and spread wisdom.
After the success of the second edition, the team of TEDxCOEP organized a runner up event called COEP XTRAS on 9th November 2019 and is planning for a full-fledged TEDx event in March 2020 to inspire and enlighten a larger audience.
