About the event

SUMMER SPACE CAMP is 4 days Technical Camp purely based on Aerospace.

We have the following events in our schedule.

1. Technical Talks by eminent Scientists from ISRO, IIA and many more.
2. Model Rocketry- Basics of Rockets, model making and flying
   • Hydro Rocketry
   • Chemical Rocketry
3. Astronomy Class
4. Sky watch
5. Interactive sessions-Janet Ivey, Kaavya Vaddadi and various other Scientists etc, covering various Topics Like Satellites, Astronomy, Aircrafts, UAVs, Space etc
6. Quiz and other Competitions based on Aerospace, what has been taught in 4 days
7. Field Trip- 1 Day(9am-5pm)
   • Jawahar Lal Nehru Planetarium
   • HAL Aerospace Museum
   • Vishveshvarayya Museum

"Participation Certificate will be issued to the student for attending the camp" and lots of prizes, gifts and goodies will be given as an award for winning in competitons and based on activeness, skills and talents.

Society for Space Education Research and Development (SSERD) is an NGO devoted to elevate and promote space education and research all over the world and to do so, we have merged with numerous similar minded organizations across the globe. Together, we strive to make the knowledge of our mystifying celestial neighbours more accessible and the age old adage of “reach for the stars” more possible.

One of our main objectives is to kindle and develop the love for space science among the young. To sow the seeds of scientific curiosity deep enough, we expose students to astronomy and space technologies right from primary school level by conducting space camps, workshops and seminars. It is important to ignite and inspire young minds to contribute to the next generation space research. To empower them to do so, we also organize various projects at school and college levels.

The Sponsors will always be in a win win Situation with us and will not have to worry about their investment at all as it will always be invested for the education of the students which in turn promote the sponsors product as well.
