About the event

The primary objective of the Speakeasy Circus event is to raise funds that will enable us to continue our educational outreach efforts, particularly through our flagship program, Adopt-A-Class. This initiative is aligned with Ocean Institute's core mission, which is to utilize the ocean as a classroom and inspire children to learn about marine science, conservation, and environmental stewardship. 

The Speakeasy Circus Fundraising Gala aims to not only raise crucial funds for our cause but also to provide an unforgettable experience for all attendees. At the Ocean Institute, we believe that experience is the teacher. What better way to connect with our guests then to give them an experience of a lifetime while supporting our mission to give students the experiences of a lifetime here at our facility. Your support will be prominently recognized prior to and throughout the event, showcasing your commitment to both education and the enrichment of our community.

Kaitlyn Davidson

My name is Kaitlyn Davidson, I am the Growth Marketing Manager at the Ocean Institute. I have worked here at Ocean Institute on all levels as an instructor, a deckhand on our research vessel, a Summer Camp Curriculum Advisor, a Marketing Coordinator and now as the Growth Marketing Manager focused on development and outreach. The Ocean Institute is a very special place that I've been a part of for many years. I attended my first overnight field trip here aboard our tall ship, The Brig Pilgrim, in 1996. I had my Senior Prom here in our main campus building in 2005 and I've had the priviledge to be a part of this incredible team who works to ensure this iconic nonprofit continues to thrive and educate.
