Originally from a classical music background, Mr. Haiping Ge was one of the earliest producers serving in the Shanghai government's office of Cultural Exchange Affairs. From that office, he hosted many of the first Western entertainers performing in China. He then graduated from the Music Department of Shanghai Drama Institute and taught piano at the University of Montana while pursuing a Masters degree in Musicology.

In 1996, Mr. Ge founded International Special Attractions Ltd ("ISA") and has been producing attractions/shows for some of the world's most prestigious venues. His previous productions include:  the "Jeweled Dragon Acrobats" of Epcot Center at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL; "ICE!" attractions in Dallas, Nashville, Orlando and Washington D.C. in association with Gaylord Hotels and Convention Centers; "The Ice Kingdom" at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA; "ILLUMINASIA" at the Winter Gardens complex in Blackpool, England; "The Ice Kingdom" at the Expo Center in Shanghai, China, and "Snow Carnival: Holiday Forest" at the M Resort Casino and Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada.

ISA's "The Ice Kingdom" was seen by millions of people worldwide and has received universal praise and acclaim. The attraction consists of an indoor structure of 15,000 square feet of frozen wonderland made entirely out of two million pounds of ice. Gigantic ice sculptures of buildings, animals, people and places are beautifully recreated by an international team of expert ice carvers. ISA has partnered with The Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA in presenting The Ice Kingdom and successfully operated for four consecutive holiday seasons. In addition to The Ice Kingdom, ISA partnered with Gaylord Hotels and presented "ICE!" for nineteen consecutive holiday seasons and brought in over 20 million visitors. ISA is the producer of the larger-than-life attraction "Luminasia," which features stunning internally lit lanterns depicting anything our clients can imagine. Luminasia was presented at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup, WA in 2013 and the Los Angeles County Fair in both 2014 and 2015. In 2014, ISA's "ILLUMINASIA" became the world's largest indoor luminary attraction at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, England. ILLUMINASIA drew approximately 120,000 people annually and ran for four consecutive years. ISA was also the first company to produce "Cirque Shanghai", which includes stunning, over-the-top acrobatic acts that were featured in venues such as the Navy Pier, Walt Disney World EPCOT, and Broadway. Cirque Shanghai's productions at the Navy Pier in Chicago, Illinois attracted over 150,000 guests each summer for nine consecutive summers. In 2022, ISA created Snow Carnival, a one-of-a-kind winter wonderland themed attraction made from 350 tons of snow falling from above.
