Raising money for Partner Ghana ,

About the event

My name is Alicja Balambilayi, I am a student from the Nottingham Emmanuel Church of England School, in year 11. An opportunity arose to travel to Ghana with the organisation Partner Schools Worldwide. I am writing to you, requesting if you would be willing to partially sponsor my trip to Ghana with Partner schools worldwide (Ghana) which has a grand total of £2000.I will be doing a number of fundraising activities such as a sponsored 10mile run, cake sales, curry nights and more. In this is two week experience in which I will be travelling to a village called Dutch Komenda where along with a group of 20 other pupils we will build a new library for the younger children, repaint the teacher accommodation and install white boards into as many classrooms as possible. The aim of the trip is to make a difference to the community in Dutch Komenda, which brings us one step closer to the Global Goals presented by the United Nations whom strive to make sure that every child under the age of 13 has access to primary education at the very least. The expedition is to take place in July 2016. I would be extremely grateful if you would consider any sort of sponsorship/ donation as this would be a life changing experience for me as well as beneficial to the community of Dutch Komenda, along with many others which would benefit greatly from the help of 1st world countries to improve the conditions and their quality of life.
