About the event

Raffles 2 Darts is a monthly competition held in Torquay. once a year we have a charity event for Rowcroft Hospice. we rasied £3100 last year and looking to go better this year. 

The event see upto 96 players take part in a day of crazt dart games. All player pay entry with part going to the charity and the rest to the prize pot. whch most players hand back. 

We also hold a raffle/Auction on the day which rasies a large potion of the total amount. Which is another way you can sponsor us by donating prize for this.

Our normal monthly competition brings upto 50 players from around south Devon in a day of Darts. We try to keep it fun and relaxed by offer various formats each month. I feel this allows all levels of players to join in and have fun. While still getting in some competitve practice. our moto is #Dartsbeerbanter

Over the last 2 years or so we have had over 200 different players attend. with a good number of regulars coming back every month. New players also enter each month. so we are for ever growing. We get the new to darts players right up to player that play for the county even England. Along with a few X PDC players and players chasing a PDC Tour card. one even making it for this year.

Why should you sponsor?

As this sponsor is for a charity gives all the reason to help out. The charity is Rowcroft Hospice who not only help people with cancer but support for there family and friends. Even in there own homes. Most people will have been affected by cancer either directly themselves or seen the suffering it can cause to a loved one, family memebr of friend. 

This is why we choose to support them every year. 

as we are monthly evnet the sponsor will also get there name out there from the day they choose to support us until the event day and even after when we share our previous achiements.

Hello

My name is Mike along with the staff at the raffles 2 club my cousin simon and a dart player Keith (aka our IT Guy). We run this monthly Dart competition

 

I choice to start this up over 2 years ago. I was looking to get players back together after a tough 2 years away from the live darts due to covid. This not only did this but gave myself and others new friends and a social event we all enjoy every month.
