Why PyDX, Given PyCon?
We’re glad to welcome PyCon to Portland for 2016 and 2017! Having this sort of large scale conference come to the Pacific Northwest is a testament to the active Python community we have locally.
PyDX is a very different event, though: we’re purely celebrating the local Python community. Not only do we price tickets to be accessible to anyone who wants to attend, but even our sponsors are drawn from local Pythonistas who want see the benefit of talking about what’s happening locally.
