About the event
This year we hope to welcome a record number of entries for our rowing events which will ensure that we will have some spectacular and hard-fought races for you to enjoy on the river. Our sailing rivals all but Cowes amongst Regattas in the UK and features many exciting races.
Our other Regatta sports, swimming, athletics, tennis, bowls, golf and darts, are all very well supported and we are looking forward to some excellent competitions. Our entertainment programme is a very important part of the Regatta and we have some fabulous evenings in store for you at our Marquee venue and there will also be our usual excellent week of entertainment on the magnificent bandstand in the Royal Avenue Gardens.
The Marquee is also home to the hugely popular Shopping Village with many local craft stores and delicious food to take home. For our younger visitors we have plenty for them to watch and to also join in and enjoy such as the ever popular Spot the Oddity. This year for the first time we are planning a new exciting children's area with puppeteers, jesters, magicians, fire eaters and animated characters. We will also be staging our fabulous Fun Fair with exciting new rides and many traditional favourites.
We will be honoured by the visit of a Royal Navy Guardship this year and I am delighted to say that during Regatta we will be visited by two Tall Ships, the Tenacious and the Pelican. We will once again presenting our spectacular fireworks displays and this year the displays on Thursday and Saturday evening can both be viewed in the Harbour area.
Finally, our programme of Air Displays will once again be an outstanding feature of the Regatta. We will be welcoming back the Red Arrows and the Typhoon and I am pleased to say that the Battle of Britain Memorial flight will be displaying on both Friday and Saturday. We have several popular evening events during Regatta week which take place in our grand marquee on Coronation Park, The Regatta Ball, Regatta, Rock, Regatta Shindig and Regatta Jazz are all annual events requiring sponsorship. The package includes an online website banner and product page, strong advertising within the Dartmouth Regatta programme, social media promotion of your brand via the Regatta pages and Dartmouth Every Time - the official tourism pages for Dartmouth and brand inclusion on all marketing material for each event.

We have a variety of bespoke packages available to suit all budgets which can include a physical presence for you during Regatta by means of a retail stand along the embankment or within our shopping village - online advertising via our website or social media - sponsorship of any of our sailing events or air displays (including the Red Arrows and RAF Typhoon) or brand placement within our regatta programme or various promotional material.
