About the event

The main objectives of Pesta Tanglung Universiti Malaya :

1. To display the various aspects of the 5,000 year-old Chinese heritage.
2. To serve as an avenue for personal development for the undergraduate participants of this project who will be working and organizing this prestigious event.
3. To foster racial integration among undergraduates through understanding the diversity of culture while participating in this event.

Why should you sponsor?

Pesta Tanglung Universiti Malaya is the biggest annual event held in University of Malaya. Pesta Tanglung Universiti Malaya has a 15 years histories, and this year will be the 16th year for the event. We have a series of events from 21/11/2016 to 1/12/2016 such as Lanthern Parade, Opening Ceremony, Carnival, Exhibition and Cultural Night , that period is known as the PT week of Pesta Tanglung Universiti Malaya. During that period , posters and buntings will be discovered everywhere around University of Malaya , the logos of sponsors for sure will be printed on the publicised materials and the video for the sponsors will be played during the Opening Ceremony and the Cultural Night of Pesta tanglung Universiti Malaya. Other than that, booths will be prepared for sponsors during carnival as well, product samples for sponsors can be presented to the public after setting up the booth.

Besides, we will be having a 2-days-mall event in Empire Shopping Gallery at 10-11/9/2016 , it provides a superb platform for sponsors to raise up the exposure and the image of respective companies. For your information, mall event organized by students is very rare among Institutional sector. Pesta Tanglung Universiti Malaya is one of the students organization which has mall event in the event flow.

In addition, the last and the most impressive event of Pesta Tanglung Universiti Malaya in the PT week is the Cultural Night. Cultural Night will be participated by at least 3000 or above audiences. There are goodies bag provided during Cultural Night and the booklets printed with Sponsors' logos will be distributed among the 3000 audiences. Unlike other publicised materials such as flyers , the booklet is distributed directly to the aundiences and this will ensure the effectiveness of publicity for respective companies.
