About the event

For over 25 years, Midwest Academy  has been educating students with learning disabilities, and graduating extraordinary,  independent, lifelong learners. Our mission can only be successful when others recognize the importance of our work and join with us to ensure continued success. We are excited to again be hosting The Pearls of Wisdom Gala this fall and invite you to partner with us as an event sponsor. 

The Pearls of Wisdom Gala is the annual fundraiser for Midwest Academy, a recognized 501(c)3 non-profit entity. This year’s Gala will be held on September 29th, 2023 from 6:30-10:00 pm, and will feature both live and silent auctions, a plated dinner, live entertainment, and special guest speaker Indiana State Treasurer, Daniel Elliot. 

As a sponsor, you will gain unique marketing exposure to the Midwest community. A community which consists of hundreds of current and alumni families, local business owners, and industry leaders. By partnering with us you will be investing in Midwest Academy, and supporting an exemplary learning environment which positively impacts the lives of students with autism, ADHD, language processing challenges, and other learning disabilities.  

Please support our mission to serve remarkable children in need of the type of special education Midwest Academy provides. All proceeds will directly support academic programming, professional development and tuition assistance. Sponsors like you are essential to our success! Why should you sponsor?

Proceeds from our event go towards student scholarships and academic support. There are far more applicants for our school than there are spaces, and we never want to turn any child away solely because of financial limitations. Sponsoring our event, helps us succeed which in turn allows us to offer students in need tuition scholarships.

I have two roles at Midwest Academy, Development Coordinator, and in-house substitute teacher. I am also a parent of a high school student who attends Midwest. My daughter has autism and anxiety disorder and was bullied at the public school. We found Midwest, where all of the students are unique, get to be themselves, and are welcomed and thrive. This school has been a game changer for my child and I'm lucky enough to get to see it happening with others every day.
