  • About the event

    The inaugural NYC version of Out of the Kitchen will be the ultimate foodie, culinary experience, and will feature talented chefs competing for the title of "DRIF Distinguished Chef." The best part? YOU get to decide our next Distinguished Chef! This event will allow a unique selection of chefs, each a master of their own cuisine, to cook sumptuous creations for every guest to try. 

    You will have the opportunity to visit each chef's custom station and take an artfully-crafted tasting plate back to your personal table to enjoy and score. After you finish one delightful plate, you will work your way through each station and help us decide which Chef will win the night's top award.

    Out of the Kitchen is one of DRIF's signature South Florida events, and it is high time that we introduce it to New York. We look forward to welcoming you to this one-of-a-kind, epicurean feast!

    All proceeds from this spectacular night will benefit the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI) at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
