Ottawa Indian Film Festival Awards | The Ottawa Indian Film Festival Award (oiffa)is devoted to cultivating an audience for Indian cinema and culture in Ottawa. It will showcase Indian films, support Indian filmmakers, recognize various performers and business executives, and promote the diverse perspectives of the Indian diaspora.

Being the first Indian film festival in the nation’s capital, it is committed to advancing the work of creative Indian filmmakers while maintaining a space for similarly inspired Canadians.

The Ottawa Indian Film Festival Award (oiffa) is a 4-day showcase of multi-genre Indian films. We will host a large number of participating film-makers and connect them with the audience through panels and film talks open to the general public. The festival’s mandate is to present the best selection of Indian cinema to the diverse audience of Ottawa. The festival will include film screenings (short, documentary and feature), industry panel discussions, performances, talent workshops, emerging talent competition and awards, red carpet gala events and after-parties.
