About the event
The NYU Sports Film Festival (SFF) is an entirely student run, sports themed film festival. Our mission is to showcase and celebrate the powerful intersection of sports and film.
NYUSFF is produced in partnership with the NYU Production Lab, NYU Real World, and NYU Athletics, as well as in affiliation with the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, producers of the Sports Emmys®, SNY, Religion of Sports, OBB Media, Round Mound Media, Yahoo! Sports, and Overtime.
The NYU Sports Film Festival is not only an in-person event. The event will be broadcasted on SNY (New York's regional sports network) eight separate times during primetime airings. It will also be able for replay streaming on the Emmys streaming app.
With a demographic of mainly college students, the next generation of consumers will be attending and viewing the NYU Sports Film Festival.
