About the event

NewHacks is IEEE UofT’s beginner-friendly hackathon intended for students with little to no hackathon experience. At NewHacks, students are encouraged to learn and gain experience by attending workshops, talking to mentors, getting hands-on experience with our selection of hardware, and creating a new project within 24 hours. NewHacks provides a platform to those students who are passionate about technology and want to get creative, but have been discouraged in the past from participating in hackathons due to their lack of experience.

Here at IEEE University of Toronto, we are dedicated to connecting students

students to diverse opportunities in the technology industry through our
