  • About the event

An initiative by the team at Road to Utopia, Maya Bazaar is a first-of-itskind series of magical marketplaces organized in various cities of India. It is a platform for business owners, artists, and performers from the LGBTQIA+ community to showcase their offerings directly to consumers, with love.

By focusing beyond the corporate world and on the families next door, the idea is to create far-reaching change that can lead to not just more awareness, but also more acceptance.

At its heart, Maya Bazaar is a platform that brings small business owners and local communities just a bit closer to one another.

    Why is there a need?
Maya Bazaar came about with the intent to offer queer people - entrepreneurs, performers, and the community at large - a safe, fun, and colorful space to be authentic, build connections and showcase their brand.

In addition to being a consistent avenue for LGBTQIA+ businesses, we are also enabling awareness and sensitization even in the smallest of cities through this initiative.

The LGBTQIA+ community continues to face challenges even as mindsets are beginning to open up. Maya Bazaar is helping us celebrate the camaraderie and give tribute to all who came before us.

    Why should you sponsor?

Our commercial bazaar is designed for cities that are home to a more cosmopolitan audience and an attitude of allyship. Here, we will find solidarity and support for queer-owned businesses, shown not just in words but through conscious actions as well.

    Why partner with us?
    01. First-mover's advantage
Maya Bazaar is the only traveling offline queer-run, ‘open' marketplace as we know it.
    02. Brand visibility
This unique trade show will help you build on your brand capital as a progressive, business-friendly brand in action.
    03. Smart activation strategies
Beyond branding and media mentions, we partner with you to design exciting activation ideas to engage the audience.
