Agribella Orbis Presents "My Name Is..." Fundraiser to Benefit Black and Pink National

OMAHA, NEBRASKA — Agribella Orbis, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting open dialogue and sharing stories for crucial societal conversations, is proud to announce its upcoming fundraiser titled "My Name Is...". The event, set to take place on March 2nd, 2024, at Benson Theatre, aims to support the non-profit organization Black and Pink National.
Black and Pink is a leading non-profit committed to providing support and advocacy for Trans people impacted by the prison industrial complex. The proceeds from the "My Name Is..." fundraiser will directly contribute to Black and Pink's efforts to aid the Trans incarcerated community and work towards a world free from the chains of the prison system as well as the stigmas surrounding the Trans experience.
"We believe in the power of stories to bring about healing, understanding, and change," said Beaufield Berry, co-founder of Agribella Orbis. "This fundraiser is an opportunity for our community to come together, listen to these stories, and support the vital work being done by Black and Pink."
The event will be hosted by TJ King and Ryan Anthony, passionate advocates for storytelling and community engagement. The "My Name Is..." fundraiser will showcase the power of storytelling as a medium for change and empowerment.
Agribella Orbis continues to make a significant impact in its mission to amplify stories that often remain unheard. Through previous events and collaborations, they have raised over $2500 in conjunction with community partners, engaging more than 300 audience members in thought-provoking conversations, this is set to be their biggest goal yet.
"As we come together for 'My Name Is...', we acknowledge the urgency of dismantling oppressive systems and advocating for a society that embraces humanity, understanding, and justice," emphasized Christi Leupold, co-founder of Agribella Orbis. "We are proud to stand with Black and Pink in their unwavering dedication to the Trans community and to a world without
    prisons."
Agribella Orbis invites the Omaha community and beyond to join in this powerful evening of storytelling, compassion, and fundraising on March 2nd, 2024, at the Benson Theatre.

    Why should you sponsor?

A donation to Agribella Orbis is putting money directly into communities that need it the most. We are an organization dedicated to elevating voices that have been muted. By supporting us you support the very baseline of humanity--the right to free speech, to be heard, to be acknowledged. As a Non-Profit we are in our infancy, everyday we learn more about what to do and not to do, your donation helps us get to that next level of understanding on an operational level. Every dollar will directly impact the artists, the writers and us as producers to ensure we can continue to live out our mission and tell more important stories. THANK YOU!

We are a 501C3 that invites people to share their own stories with others for relevant, integral, necessary conversation. We create stages for stories that could otherwise go untold in places that need to hear them the most, creating crucibles of healing through community, storytelling, partnership, compassion, art, and fundraising. Through our previous events and causes we’ve raised over $2500 in tandem with our community partners, garnered the support of over 300 audience members, and told the stories that so many share, even in their silence.

Our mission is to cultivate a world where every individual's story is a source of empowerment. We build community upon authenticity, courage, healing, and vitality. We are dedicated to nurturing an environment where people from all walks of life can find the strength to share their narratives, weaving a tapestry of diverse experiences that embolden our shared humanity.
