Mia: the Musical,

London, England, United Kingdom London, England, United Kingdom

  • About the event

Mia: the Musical is a performance about Mental Health that will be streaming online for audiences to view.

The show is about a woman who feels nothing - only the unwanted emotions that others donate to her. One day she is given a feeling that she has never had before... happiness. But who would want to give happiness away?

Mia: the Musical is a bold and exciting new musical, where a woman who feels nothing will teach us how to use our emotions!  West End Producers and Actors have called it an ‘Excellent concept’, ‘A show that audiences crave’, and ‘Beautifully written’. With music by Sheridan Lloyd (Dreamboats and Petticoats) and Josef Pitura-Riley (Between Us: a new Musical), and book & lyrics by Kathryn Mincer (based on her lived experiences with Borderline Personality Disorder).

Any monetary support would be greatly appreciated as we have a cast of seven Actors, Production, Recording, Filming & Editing, Venue, and Marketing costs to equate for.

    Why should you sponsor?

Our aim is to open up a conversation about the importance of looking after your mental health; and therefore have also partnered up with Samaritans Charity to donate a portion of Ticket/Album sales to their organisation, as well as sign-posting available after the show.

The event will be streaming online in September 2021, with filming and performing beginning in June 2021. Your generous sponsorship would be highlighted in announcements during promotional and fundraising events, crediting your company at the end of the performance, as well as mentioning/tagging of your organisation’s social media (dependent on what sponsorship you select).

As a Producer, my role is to create shows from an idea, bringing them to life! Previous Production work includes a play with Croydon Community Against Trafficking (CCAT), called (In)Visible. The show portrayed the real life experiences of Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery. (In)Visible received 5 star reviews from audiences, and went on to be the most viewed show at Around the Globe in 80 Plays Festival.
