About the event

Every year since 2021, Mi Salsa Dura Baile has a cultural event in Washington Square Park which brings the salsa community together through music and dance.  

Every year the event attracts more people as it is held in a popular NYC park in downtown Manhattan.  

This event is held seasonally from May to October. 

Why should you sponsor?

Mi Salsa Dura Baile is comprised of a dedictated group of people that brings people together through all differences and walks of life during a time when people sought social interaction.  We need to sponsor support to grow and bring more events like this to the community.  We want to enhance every attendees experience by bringing live music even if it is once a season. Mi Salsa Dura Baile is a nonprofit event and soley operates through donations. 

Joseph Bullerin

I am a born and raised Puerto Rican from East Harlem.  I started these events to bring a small group of my friends to the park to enjoy music and dance during COVID because we could not be inside.  Since then my events have grown to include hundreds of attendees.  

When I am not managing and coordinating these events, I am a para teacher for the Department of Education for children with special needs.
