Teresa Teng, famed in Asia for Love Songs. She was known for her folk songs and romantic ballads such as “Sweet as Honey” and “The Moon Represents My Heart” captured the hearts of millions across Asia and transcended not only geographical boundaries but time and generations as well.
About Vanatsaya Viseskul :
Vanatsaya Viseskul is a 16-year-old Thai singer, whose name, at the moment, is inextricably linked with the late Teresa Teng, whose love songs gained her wide fame across Asia. She also appeared in a famous reality talent show – “The Voice of China” in Beijing wowed four judges and the audiences for her similar voice and appearance to Teresa Teng. During the show, she performed Teng's popular hits. Her singing style as well as her image, which resembles the legendary Teng, Viseskul gained overnight fame. With nearly 100,000 followers on her Sina Weibo account, Viseskul was recognized by the Thai Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) for her contribution to promoting a positive image of Thailand in China at the competition.
