Top Flight presents the Memorial Day Shootout!
This is an AAU league basketball tournament with teams attending from around the country. Athletes, friends and family of over 200 teams will be in attendance. Further, numerous national college recruiters will be in attendance, giving these student athletes an opportunity to be seen and, possibly, signed by colleges for athletic scholarships.

Top Flight Athletics is an AAU program designed specifically to further the athletic and academic opportunities for young athletes in the Amarillo community.The program includes a large age range of players and, currently, has five active teams, one 3rd grade team, two JV teams, one varsity and an elite varsity team. The program takes the teams all over the state and country to compete in basketball tournaments where the athletes are seen by national recruiters for college athletic programs. As of now, last year's varsity team has had four players recruited and signed by colleges with full or partial scholarships. This year's elite team has already been invited to play in the AAU West Coast National Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada in July, 2016 and in the Don Haskill Invitational Classic in El Paso, Texas.
These athletes work hard everyday to make their dreams a reality and any sponsorships are used, directly, to further the goals of the athletes. To get the athletes seen and recruited by colleges. This program presents a number of under privileged youths in the community with the opportunity to be seen by numerous college recruiters; an opportunity many of them may not otherwise have. The support of local community businesses is what makes the program possible and a success. Thank you for any consideration given to this request for sponsorship. For the $250 sponsors we will be having tournament shirts printed for the teams attending with the names and logos of sponsors on them. These shirts will go home with people from Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Indiana, just to name a few!
