McMaster DECA U Case Competition (MDCC) is a yearly case competition event hosted at the Ron Joyce Center in Burlington. The competition brings as average of 150 students, plus an additional 30 judges from firms all across Ontario. Our chapter of DECA boasts an average of 200 - 250 members per year from numerous faculties across McMaster University, and we are working towards solutions to bring even more of our members to this event. MDCC is more than a case competition - we offer workshops, networking, and more. The event is open to all other DECA-affiliated Universities in Ontario, and our photos and exposure reach thousands of students.
We are a diverse club that specializes in helping students build the soft skills necessary to succeed in the work force, group projects, and more. McMaster DECA U is not just for Commerce students - we encourage all students from any Faculty to join. Our organization hosts weekly practices which offer study guides, case-writing and case-presenting practice, workshops and competitions to keep students motivated.
