About the event

We are launching RICHMOND'S FIRST FESTIVAL, inspired by the beautiful town of Marzamemi, Sicily.

Launching in July 2024, Marzamemi is a one-of-a-kind event that celebrates the vibrant culture and traditions of its namesake village in Sicily.

Intimate and expertly curated, Marzamemi brings innovative fashion & homeware brands and exquisite tastemakers of West London.

Marzamemi will be a premium festival for Richmond locals (and others further afield).

This is a perfect day out for the kids as family friendly is a key component to the festival. Including an immense inflatable ‘ocean’, a silent cinema & disco, dressing up tent, live shows throughout the day from the lovely local Giggle Company.

We want our customers to feel like they have stepped off the plane in warm, sunny Sicilia! So the overall look & feel of the festival is crucial and therefore we will plan to have a sufficient budget to accommodate the design aspects. Picture thousands of festoon lights and decadent tents, colourful deck chairs, parasols, lounge seating, Sicilian tiled design flooring & hoarding and much more!

With a large, decorative yurt for the main restaurant space, to a large collection of food & drink stalls, our customers will have plenty to choose from.

There will also be live music throughout the day and DJ’s playing into the evening.

Guests will have the option to upgrade to a Super! ticket. Super! ticket holders will secure a range of benefits including complimentary bottle of bubbles  & aperitivo, goodie bags, Super! washrooms plus complimentary festival tattoos & gems.

The concept was born from living in Richmond for 8 years and feeling like it lacked a fun family friendly space for kids to enjoy but parents to completely relax. Whilst still on the hunt for a unique space to create this as a permanent venue, we have also evolved the concept into a 2 day event that Richmond is crying out for! 

The 2 day event will be located at the Old Deer Park in Richmond on Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th July 2024.

Emily Ceraudo

We are Richmond residents with backgrounds in architecture, design and finance. As residents for almost 10 years, Richmond desperately needs independent restaurants and/ or events. 

We are also actively exploring a food & beverage opportunity within the borough and are in discussions with investors. We think this local festival concept will compliment the F&B opportunity. 

With heritage from Italy, it was a natural progression to use this as the concept for the festival.
