This past year we hosted our 3rd annual film festival to an energized crowd of over 6,000 guests from around the country, LIFF 2015 showcased world class programming of over 60+ films from around the globe including features, documentaries, shorts and animation, a Mentorship Program with a special focus on “Year of the Woman” presenting over 30 workshops & networking opportunities including special guest speakers, filmmakers and talent - Sally Kirkland, Vincent D’Onofrio, Mauro Fiore, Bernard Rose, Xavier Samuel, and more. A special crescendo performance by the first ever Louisiana International Film Festival Symphony playing hit movie scores with a 70 piece orchestra stole the show allowing our audience to experience movie music in a new way…LIVE!The success of the Louisiana International Film Festival & Mentorship Program’s momentum is entirely attributed to the generous support of our community. A community of locals from professional film & innovation industry veterans to enthusiasts, donors, members and curiosity seekers. A community of our of State friends, colleagues, sponsors and travelers.
