LOCAL LIVE CANADA™ is set to air for a 6th season after a record breaking 5th season with over 160,000 public votes. The series is loosely based on popular reality singing competition shows that all have grown to love. LOCAL LIVE CANADA™ prides itself for being the first music show to focus on the development of artists who write and perform their own original music. The show searches for talent and gives them a stage in which they can showcase their material to help jump start their career.

LOCAL LIVE CANADA™ wields a panel of industry professionals who critique and coach each contestants song and performance . The original judges were gold and platinum award winning record producer Michael Jack, music producer Jazzfeezy, pop singer /Recording Artist Lorraine Lawson, and music/vocal coach Edwina Douglas. The judging panel for the most recent season included Michael Jack, Jazzfeezy, and introduced international supermodel Amanda Strachan, and television personality Drop Daniels. The shows creator, Steve Major has hosted the show since it began in 2009. There have been 4 winners of the show to date: Tori Hathaway, Kid Bliz & Chubz (Rolergang), Carley K, and most recently Megan Anne Baillie.
