Kids Fashion Week is a non-profit 501c3 company focused on:
- providing a platform for children looking to advance their
entertainment-based careers.
- showcasing designer’s youth collections.
- offering an opportunity for growth, networking and development
for children working in the entertainment industry.
We started Kids Fashion Week Network to produce a family-friendly event that would provide a platform for professional kids that add value
to their existing resumes. Within the first year of planning, we knew that KFW would be bigger than we imagined. We had joined a community
of kidpreneurs, where kids are passionate and laser-focused on their careers. Being momagers, we thought it was important for Washington
DC to have a staple kid’s event that is recognized and respected globally. The kids we work with were making amazing strides in their
respective industries, outside of this city. Now, kids travel here to be a part of KFW. After working with so many incredible kids, we decided to
take KFW a step further; for kid and by kids. We found ourselves pairing kids with adults to fulfill positions beyond the runway. We are now
operating in four major cities; Washington DC, San Diego, New Orleans, and Chicago. We provide a notable career opportunities for children
that are serious about their careers.
Kids Fashion Week was created with heart and soul. We encourage individuality, creativity, and entrepreneurship. Through this organization
we provide programs and career opportunities throughout the year. Most importantly, we have curated a family of professionals who will grow
up in this business together. We are looking forward to successful futures for everyone a part of the KFW Network.
