About the event

I am writing as the Chair of the Katemba Classic requesting a sponsorship or donation in support of our upcoming annual event.

The Katemba Classic is an intimate golf weekend bringing together a select group of passionate golfers for competition, camaraderie, and celebration of the sport we love. With only 12 players, our event is deliberately small in size but large in spirit - every participant is a dedicated golfer who lives and breathes the game.

We are a group of expats, living in Europe, originating from South Africa with a passion for the sport. We have members ranging from a DP World Tour green keeper to new golfers who started within the last two years. The one commonality is that we all consume all golf content in all its forms and rarely go a week without playing.

Why should you sponsor?

I am approaching you because I am responsible for arranging the Katemba Classic for 2026 and giving the other 11 men a memorable experience is a responsibility I take very seriously.
