Kabir Cafe is Neo-Folk Fusion band, that plays, the poetry of 15th Century Indian Mystic – KABIR, in a substrate of Indian Folk Music, mixed contemporary genres of Rock, Reggae, Pop and Carnatic music. The Band have played in 700+ shows from the short three and half years of existence. And have toured 7 countries including Thailand, Singapore, Dubai, Israel, USA, UK (May ’17) and Zimbabwe. The Band's songs FAKIRI has featured in the Bollywood movie HINDI MEDIUM (May ’17), starring IRFAN KHAN and HOSHIYAR REHNA is the main theme song of the Bollywood movie – BADSHAHO, currently running successfully in theaters right now starring AJAY DEVGAN, EMRAN HASHMI and ESHA GUPTA, and directed by celebrated Director – MILAN LUTHRIA. The band have been em-paneled into the prestigious ICCR (Indian Council of Cultural Relations). Kabir Cafe possess its rank among the top 3 Folk-Fusion / Indie bands in India, alongside Indian Ocean and Raghu Dixit Project.
